Valentine's Day - Secret Code Wheel - alphabet and symbols
A super-fun activity for Valentine’s Day. Make these secret code wheels and use them to write a secret message/card for someone special.
Included:
♦ 15 templates (different pictures in each wheel).
♦ Teacher notes.
♦ Joke – for your students to decipher using their code wheel.
♦ Writing template – for your students to write a secret message on.
♦ 2 card templates – for your students to write a secret message in.
Pictures on the inner wheels:
Furry love monster, cupcake, cupcake with sign, heart (dotty), heart (concentric), heart (zig-zag), heart (stripes), heart (scalloped edge), flower, tree with hearts, bee, bee mine, bear, lovebug, frog.
What you need:
All you need is a split pin (otherwise known as a brad pin), or alternatively just use a push-pin and attach it to a pin board or something soft like an eraser. They work fine with paper if you don’t have a supply of card.
This template:
This template has the alphabet on the outer wheel and symbols on the inner wheel.

Christmas Games - 4 in a row gameboards - FUN!
Fun Christmas Gameboards - ‘4 in a row’
How to play:
Roll the dice, read the word, find the picture and put a counter on it. The first person to get 4 of their counters in a row is the winner.
Equipment needed: one dice (numbered 1-6) and counters for each player.
Number of players: works best with 2 players.
What you get:
4 games with different Christmas images. Each game comes in two versions – plain white background, or blue background.

The Animals:

Codebreaking - Under the Sea - (pig pen code)
Sheriff Chompalot has arrested you for littering in the ocean! To gain your freedom from the ‘Ocean Jail’, you must decipher some texts about ocean creatures. These texts are written in ‘shark tooth’ code (commonly known as ‘pig pen’ code). Will you be able to gain your key to freedom or will you remain in prison forever?
Interesting, fun facts about 15 ocean creatures are written in code and displayed on grey ‘notebook’ paper. A plain copy of the codes is also included (ie, no background).
